i have a friend of mine whos wife left over a year ago. he has started the filing for the divorce. he does not know where she is. he has now got a girlfriend and they have not said nothing to no one for the reason of his career can if she comes back into the picture if she diecides to show back up. charge him with adultry once the papers have been started after the ad in the newspaper is ran and all has to be done is go before a judge or divorce comissioner.

Yes, it's possible than under Virginia law and the facts you've described, that your friend could be counterclaimed with adultery by the defendant if she does it within the 21 day period in which she has to file an answer to the divorce lawsuit from the date she's served with the papers

or they're posted in the courthouse.

Not too likely, but still possible.
