Re: divorce

It is unclear what payment you wish to stop making. For example, are you still living together and you pay household bills, or, are you living apart and paying preliminary support? Consult an attorney to fully discuss this matter. Also, with respect to obtaining a copy of the Pakistan marriage record you may contact the American Embassy in Pakistan (via computer) and they will advise you on the necessary procedure.

Re: divorce

If you're currently under an order of the court to pay spousal support for your wife, you cannot stop paying unless you receive an order from the court which allows for such cessation of payments.

Regarding the other issues which you've mentioned, I would suggest that you arrange for a consultation with an attorney who is appropriately knowledgeable and experienced in Virginia dommestic relations matters

who should be able to advise you on these particular issues.
