Do I need legal representation to file for divorce or proceed with it? Can I go to the courthouse and file with the court if both parties are in agreement of the choice of divorce?

You certainly can do it yourself if you don't have property or children, but sometimes the procedures can be quite confusing. Hopefully your courthouse will have a good pro se packet of information to guide you.
