Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Divorce

I live in the state of Va but was married in the state of MS. Can I use Va forms to file in the state of MS or do I need to use the forms from that state?

Re: Divorce

If you're talking about using a forms packet to file for divorce pro se in Missouri (or whatever state it is), you would use the forms of that state rather than those of Virginia.

Re: Divorce

It depends where you are filing. If you are filing in VA, the forms for there would be applicable. If you file in MS you would use MS forms. If you are unsure, or need additional assistance, I advise you to consult an attorney.
