Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

divorce papers state father gets daughter for 7 days/mthly...mother sent a text message asking father to keep daughter 3 additional days. After an argument she wants to press charges stating father had daughter more than 7 days. Can she do that?

She can do it, but if it ever gets to a hearing she's going to look pretty stupid having requested him to do the very thing she accuses him of doing.

Document everything. Remind her that looking to the best interests of the child are tantamount. Stop being so petty. Let her hash out in court. She will probably hurt herself at end.
