Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

divorce by publication

I have been living separate and apart from my spouse for 3 and 1/2 years and have had no contact with him. I want to finalize the divorce and can't find him. What I'd like to know is how long does the process of divorce by publication take? There are no property, debt, or family issues involved (no children).

Probably, anywhere from three to six months, depending upon the court involved.
