Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

In my divorce settlement I was awarded full ownership of a motorcycle that was in my name only and my ex husband was liable to pay off the remaining funds on the loan. Per the agreement the only way he would be able to stop making payments is if it was fully paid off or I remarried. The bike was stolen this week and insurance states they will send a check to leanholder and I would be paid out the remaining funds. Does this let my ex husband off the hook or is he still liable to pay me what was the remaining balance on the loan?

If you'be already been paid by the insurance company for the fair

market value of the stolen bike, how could you expect further payment

for the bike from your ex husband? (Sounds like unjust enrichment

or something similar to me.)

The payment from the insurer likely means that "it was fully paid off".
