If I have children and my wife has custody and we have only been separated for 5months, can i file for divorce yet, or do I have to wait until we have been separated for 12 months?

Yes, 12 months of living separate and apart, continuously, and without cohabitation to qualify for a no-fault divorce in the Commonwealth under the circumstances described.
