After 3mo. legal seperation, my wife has come down with stage 4 cancer. Can I look after her in my home or hers, with us sleeping seperate and it not be considered cohabitation in Virginia

Yes you may take her in and sleep in separate quarters and it will not be considered a reconciliation.
