Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have been divorced for 11 years. As part of the divorce I am responsible for my son's medical and dental expenses. Recently my son lost his retainer. My ex-wife had another one made. I received a bill for $185 from the othodontist. I have paid 100% of the cost of my sons braces. I don't think that I should have to pay for a lost retainer that was do to carelessness. Do you think I am ,,correct?

I suppose you could ignore her or tell her that and and wait and see if she files a case against you. I would think Judge is more likely to make you pay than not.

Yes, since you're responsible for paying your son's dental expenses, it's likely

that you would be found responsible for paying for the cost of replacing

his lost orthodontic retainer.
