Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have been divorced for 10 years and have remarried 7 years ago. My child is having issues with her birth father and the courts have issued counseling for child and parents. Does this mean that I have to have counseling with my ex-husband when we are not even a family unit?

You need to find out what, exactly, the Judge ordered and what, if anything, you are required to do. Call the clerk, counselor, or any of the attorneys involved. Good luck.
