divorce/money question

Money that I've had in my name before marriage - can this be touched by my soon to be ex husband?

Money that you had prior to the marriage may be subject to equitable distribution where it is not kept separate and thus becomes marital. For example, if the money was put into a joint account and used for marital purposes it would no longer be separate. Certainly an answer is dependant upon the particular facts in your case, and you may wish to consult an attorney for further information/assistance.

No, it should normally be considered property owned soley by you and not subject to possible marital claims from your husband.
