domestic abuse police report

I filed a police report on a domestic abuse charge. What if I do not want to testify. What are the penalties? Also what if I had been drinking when I filled it out does this make a difference?

You may wish to address all of these issues honestly with the Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney who has been assigned to prosecute the person whom you may have falsely/improperly accused-------and then make yourself appropriately scarce.
