Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

He drew up paperwork I'm not comfortable signing

My husband has been to a lawyer and has had paperwork drawn up. I have been most unsuccessful in finding a lawyer that will look at the paperwork with an open mind. I keep hearing comments like we can get him for everything he's got. I don't want everything he's got just want what is fair. We have been married for 19 years. I don't think it would be in my best interest to just sign it might be best if a judge decides. How do I proceed by not being represented. How do I go about scheduling court time etc. (He said I should just sign and then his lawyer would schedule the court time)

DO NOT sign without having the paperwork reviewed by an attorney. Call the local Bar Association office, ask for the lawyer referral service, and explain what type of attorney you would like to have; you should be able to get several referrals.
