Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

DSS took my nephews from my sister. After 6 months we found out and petitioned the court for custody. there was a hearing for termination of parental rights and out hearing was also that day. the judge continued the case and sent the boys home with their foster family and not us. a home study from us was submitted to the court and was a perfect home study. I do not think they have any intentions of giving us these children. I can not afford an attorney.
