My dual citizen daughter has lived and worked in zVirginia for20 years with dual citizenship .she married us citizen 8 years og the have a daughter of 4 they now seek divorce,her husband has no money, I paid for the house etc, a virginian lawyer advisers that thr husbsand has no claim on assets is this correct?

No, not necessarily, since if in the course of the marriage the

husband could prove that he made verifiable contributions to the

maintenance and/or improvement of the house through the

investment of his capital and/or labor, he might be able to establish

a legally viable marital claim to it in proportion to the value of these contributions.
