emancipation at 16

what are all the requirments of being emancipated in virginia when you turn 16? if i have a job and a place to live do you think i can get emancipated without parental consent? do you think i will be able to apply for finacial help? do you think a landlord will rent me an apartment when im only 16?

A 16 yr. old may petition for emancipation. However, for a court to find this is justified it must find: that the minor married; that he/she is in the armed services; or, that the minor is living independently with parental consent
