Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Emergency/Temp Custody

My ex has custody of our 12 yr old. WE went to court in june. with not change in custody. In the last 90 days he has gotten a dui, got married to a woman that he cheated on his fiance (she was living in home)with(was only 5 months before)moved in there child together and her 5 yr son. I just learned that after 6 weeks of marriage she filed assult charges and had him removed from his home. He was convicted by ss 2 yrs ago for abuse of our child but not found guilty in court. My question is What do I do at this moment? They have not home and the EPO has been extended. I have a meeting with a lawyer, but not for a few days. Our child can not wait.

Re: Emergency/Temp Custody

Better wait for the scheduled consultation with the lawyer. (From your description of matters, your 12 year old son would not appear to be in any real immediate danger himself, in my opinion.)
