Equitable distribution
I live in Virginia. The Divorce decree says that it adopts the Divorce Commissioners findings regarding Equitable Distribution. Is who gets to claim the child on their income taxes included in equitable distribution? The Commissioner's Report states that I can claim her.

The remedy of equitable distribution implemented by a divorce court involves the identification and distribution of marital property between divorcing spouses. The right to claim a dependency deduction on income taxes is, as far as I know, not classified as marital property.
