equity in home

I filed for a divorce from my wife. I purchased a home 6yrs before I married my wife. Will I be required to sell my house or buy her out of any part of the equity in the house even though I made all of the mortgage payments.

If the home was truly separate property of yours that was brought into the marriage it would then not be marital property needed division. However, if her name was on the mortage, or any marital (joint) funds went towards paying the mortage it then may be marital property.
