Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Expenses not covered by child support

Driver's Ed classes, Choir field trips, Choir outfits and new passports cost - should the non-custodial share 1/2 of these expenses? Both of us are expected to pay about $760/mo for two daughters. I always pay for anything extra which runs into hundreds of dollars yearly.

Thanks for help

Re: Expenses not covered by child support

Sure, but you probably can't require it under the terms of the support order itself unless there's a property settlement agreement (PSA) in place which can be reasonably construed to require payment from the NCP for these kinds of expenses for the children.
