Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
Hi,
My ex-wife wants to take my two kids (12, and 13 years old) to stay overnight at her boyfriend's house. I don't feel conformatble about it. Since I have full legal cutody of my two kids, can I refuse my wife's request to take my kids to her boyfriend's house?
By the way I always encourage my kids to spend the weekends, overnight, with their mom in her own condo. I am only having prolem with my kids stay in the house of a man I haven't met before.
I'd appreciate any help on this.
Thank you in advance!
Yi

If you have sole custody, legal as well as physical, then, yes, you have full veto power over this kind of proposed visitation between your ex-wife and your two children.
