Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Facebook, Myspace, Etc.

Can I use things from myspace or facebook or other social networks in a custody case. My ex has posted some very nasty things about me on their page in which I have printed out. My ex has stated things on their page such as I will loose in court, and they will not stop until they get what they want from the judge which is full/sole custody. She has also made statements on her page about me being a looser and made vulgar ( profanity) comments on someone else page in regards to my current girlfriend. I feel that such things are very inappropriate and show her character and help back up that she is using the kids to try to get back at me. Will a judge even look at this or is it that emails would be more effective.
