Fake marriage, real wedding

His ex told court she was getting married and to retain custody of their child. She staged a wedding with child involved, we found out there is no legal documentation proving she is married. VA is not common law either. She is dating someone else now. What are the consequences for lying about this and using the child as a pawn??

Hard to say, based upon these alleged facts; the court might have had other reasons to award the mother custody of this child other than her supposed marriage that may never have come to pass.
