Can an Alzheimer's patient be sued by his ex-wife?

I kmow of no reason why not. However, whether she'll be able to establish that such a patient owes her anything or whether she might be able to collect anything that might be owed are quite separate questions, entirely, and, needless to say, each quite likely problematical in its own right.
