i am not sure if the man i believe to be, is my 4 year olds father. he absolutely does not believe he is and does not recognize my son. can i compel him to take paternity test if i am not interested in child support.

justifiable legal "record".

No, you cannot compel your paternity suspect to submit to a paternity test

unless you have a justifiable legal record, such as a petition for child support pending in a court of proper jurisdiction. (Merely because you want to know if he's the father is not a

legally justifiable reason for a court to order such a test.)
