Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Father attempted to alienate me from son's life

The Father and I have joint legal custody of our 7 year old son. Our son's primary residence is with his father and stepmother while I have visitation with him. Out of alienation, the father had his attorney to send a letter to the school claming to keep me and my family from visiting with our son on school premises. I spoke to the principle and superientient and sent copies of my court papers, but they are still for the time being honoring the attorney's letter. In the attorney's letter it states my weekend visitation with my son, and that I nor my family may not see him anymore then the regular and holiday visitation states in the court papers. This does not sould correct surely I can see him and particpate in school activies as well, but for now the school won't let me.

Sounds like you may need an attorney to take up these matters with the appropriate school authorities.
