Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

While in her father's care for a scheduled weekend visit, my daughter spent the night with a couple I do not know that well. She is five. I did find a phone number for the man who was watching her and left a voicemail asking for basic contact info for them in the event I needed to reach them (her father would not give it to me even though he is supposed to). The other couple refused to provide me with said info. Because they accepted responsibility for my minor child, what, if any legal recourse do I have? I later found out they also took my daughter out of town (again to destinations unknown).

Rule to Show Cause in the court currently having jurisdiction over your custody/visitation issues involving the minor child would appear to be your appropriate remedy for this particular situation.

A rule to show cause and a modification of should be done. That is my opinion!
