Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

i filed for petition of custody, but now am wanting to cancel it. what steps would i take in order to do so?

Go to the clerk's office of the court where the petition was filed

and explain that you wish to withdraw your petition--and then

follow their instructions as to what that particular court will

require in order to properly effect your request.
