Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

If I have a final decree of divorce from another state, and my ex husband and I talked about modifying so that he can have custody of the children, but changed my mind and didn't want to go through with it after all after learning that he doesn't have the means to support the children, will I still have to sign a waiver of service or can i omit that?

You should sign nothing if you've decided not to agree to the modification of your final decree.
