about finalized divorce

my question is i recently divorced my wife i paid for the divorce. does that mean shes leagally divorced from me can she remarry to,and also can she take my lifeinsurance that i left to my fiance if i died or could she take my estate from my fiance. please answer this question for me i am low income and can't afford a lawyer. if necessary call 930-4319 area code 276 if cant contact me through my email aderss which is my fiance email adress [email protected]

If you received a final decree of divorce from your wife she is also divorced from you and just as free to remarry as you are whenever she chooses.

Whether or not your former wife is entitled to receive the proceeds from your life insurance policy or other items in your estate, should you die, would normally be determined by what the

final divorce, including any property settlement agreement(or order of the court affecting

property), if there was one, says----or doesn't say in regard to this matter.

Note: Life insurance monies are customarily paid to whoever is named as beneficiary in the policy.
