Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Trying to find ''the missing link''

My son, 7, is developing some health and psychological issues. I have tried numerous times to contact his father's family to get information on the family medical background, but with no success. Is there another way that I can find out this information legally? I know these issues do not run in my family, and I need the information to be able to relay to my son's doctors.

Re: Trying to find ''the missing link''

I know of no requirement that the father or his family are legally obligated to provide such information regarding their family medical history.

I would, therefore, answer no to your question.
