Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Fraud on a Deed

My husband and I separated in Feb 2002, I was served divorced papers in Jan 2004 and as of May 2004 we are still not legally divorced. In Oct 2003 he purchased a home with his girlfriend and the Deed to the house was filed with his & her name, it states that he is ''unmarried.'' This statement is not true, we are still married. Did he commit fraud? What kind of legal action can I take against him for making this falsified statement? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Re: Fraud on a Deed

Unless you can show that the transaction which you

have attributed to your husband was effected with marital funds or property(belonging to both you and your husband), I don't see that what you have alleged is any matter which you should be concerned with or involved in in any

manner whatsoever.

MYOB might well apply to this situation.
