Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

A friend is being forced out of her home (with two children, aged 2 and 9 months) by her husband for another woman. Now, HIS mother owns the house and was giving them a 'rent to own' type of deal. She is siding with her son, and made it clear my friend was to get out of the house. Now, they did have a signed lease and my friends name is on it. So can she legally be kicked out of her house like this??

Absent a valid court order requiring her departure from the marital home, the answer is, no.
