My friend has been married to her husband for 17 months and they have lived in a house that she had purchased prior to their marriage. He has helped her by making mortgage payments throughout their marriage. However, their marriage is not working out and there has been issues of physical abuse, can she evict him?

No, she most defintely cannot evict her husband, absent a valid court

order requiring him to move out.
