Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

a friend of mine is married and left her husband for a year and a half. because of the way she left her husband said that because of the way she left she abandoned their home.(trailor which is in her step dads name). she returned a year and a half later and has been back for 4 years now and now wants a divorce but is wondering eventhogh the trailor is in her step dads name but they did get back together since they got back together if she asks for a divorce and asks him to leave does he have to leave or is he intitled to the place being what happened in the passt even if she gets the place put into her name?

Your friend needs to decide what she wants and consult an attorney. No one is entitled to live in a home owned by third parties (stepdad). The past is probably the past and not relevant to your question. Good luck.
