Friendly Loan Collection
What are my options for collecting re-payment on money loaned to a friend(ex-girlfriend)? Over a 3 month period while unemployeed I lent her money for bills, clothes, perscriptions, etc... and have did not recieve any type of reimbursement for it and she has now moved out and disappeared.

You can send her a letter telling her you expect reimbursement by a certain date. Your other option is to file a warrant in debt in the General District Court in the county where she lives.

Disappeared, you say? I'd put your chances at around zero of actually collecting any reimbursement from this particular person for
expenditures(if you ever did manage to catch up with her)which she would undoubtedly characterize as "gifts"----and which, ultimately, of course, as a practical matter, is what they're likely to turn out to be(at least in her mind).
