Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

We want full child custody

My husband has been in the Army in New York since after his first custody battle with his 9 year old daughters mother. They were never married she had custody and he is suppose to have every other weekend. But we live 750 miles away and since we have been married 2 years and are settled we want to go to court for full custody and she lives in VA so we need to know what we can do. The little girl has a learning diability we believe has been neglected and we want full custody. We don't have a lot of money for expensive lawyers. Please help

Re: We want full child custody

I would like to see a list of reasons why you believe it is in the 9 year old's best interest to be in her father's custody... Your best case would probably involve expert testimony that her learning disability was not adequately addressed in mother's care. But experts are expensive... So send me your list and I will comment without fee.
