Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have full custody of my two boys and the father gets them every weekend starting Friday at 6pm. He is ALWAYS late picking them up...sometimes well over an hour. I never get a phone call or anything. Legally how long do i have to wait before i can go about the rest of my evening with my boys??? I shouldnt have to wait around for him all nite.

No, you shouldn't have to wait around all Friday evening for the tardy one to come pick up his boys. You might consider writing him a letter informing him that he must come no later than 7pm to pick them up or you and these boys will be pursuing other plans for that evening.
