Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have two girls 3 and 7. Mom and I never married. Children live with me from 7pm-7am on weekdays while Mom works overnight. 3 year old in daycare. Mom wants me to sign split custody papers. I do not understand the difference between split and joint custody

Very likely no differenceat all but before you sign anything, I would recommend

that you have an attorney review these papers who knows something about

custody matters and the domestic relations laws of the Commonwealth and

who can advise you, accordingly.
