Do grandparents still have rights to visitation in the state of Virginia?

S20-124.2 of the Code of Virginia provides for the granting of custody of or visitation with the child to "persons with a legitimate interest" when the appropriate conditions apply.

S20-124.1 of the Code defines grandparents as one

class of persons having such interests.
