Can a guardian et litem legally tell the other party issues im concerned about

Assuming that this G.A.L was appointed by the court to investigate, protect and
advocate for the best interests of the subject child in the case, I know of no
reason as to why s/he could not speak with other parties in the case regarding
anything you may have told the guardian concerning your issues in the matter,
irrespective of what your party status may be. After all, the guardian ad litem
represents the child's best interests and not yours and would owe you no duty
of confidentiality as far as I am aware.
