Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Honoring a life Estate as a part of a divorce decree

My fiance believe that I should not have given my now ex-wife a life estate for the residence that her and my 12 year old son reside.

At the time of our divorce 5 years ago we had ample assets and I felt that it was a resonable to do instead of trying to liquidate assets .

Now 5 years later she totally disagree with it and want me to have them kicked out of the house.

what are the legal ramifications of getting out of this to protect my existing relationship.

Assuming that the agreement to give your wife a life estate was incoporated in the final decree of divorce, the legal ramifications of failing to obey an order of the court include incarceration for contempt of court.
