my husban and i have lived in two seperate states for a year have no kids and wish to divorce. have no assets. where do we start?

Either state with either you or your husband as plaintiff, most likely based upon no-fault grounds, and, hopefully, with some kind of property settlement/

separation agreement between the spouses which later can simply be incorporated into a final decree of divorce
