Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My ex husband is behind in child support and alimony. I have turned the child support over to DCSE but cannot get a response from him about the alimony. If it is circuit court how can I get him to pay it? I have tried to write a show cause on my own and have not had any luck. I am not in a financial position to hire a lawyer is there someplace that I can get assitance quickly and inexpensively?

Perhaps, you can qualify for a legal aid attorney from one of the low cost legal

sevices providers in your area. (If the alimony is part of what's known as a

unitary support award, it should be enforceable by DCSE along with the child support.)
