My almost ex (not legally seperated) and I have agreen to seperate and see where things go. He already has a Child Support order fr his first 2 kids. If we go to court for OUR child support hearing, how will his 1st order affect mine or will it all? I know what he pay to his ex is taken into factor. But he has a new job now with higher income will they re-do his 1st order then do mine? How does it work?

Re: Almost Ex Husband Current Child Support

His first order will remain as it is unless the obligee(mother of children) files for a review and possible increase.

If you petition for the support of your child, your order will be calculated under the Virginia Child Support Guidelines which will factor the other order and higher income of your husband into the calculations to determine what order should be entered for the support of your child. (See Va. Code Sec. 20-108.2.)
