Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Me and my husband want a divorce we havent been married six months yet we got married in sept 2009 and we separated in dec 2009 we have never lived together and dont own anything toghter do we have to wait a year to get divorced if i file it in virginia we married in georgia and he resides there in the military.

A minimum 6 months continuous separation would be required as a basis

for a no-fault divorce in Virginia. (Where you were married is irrelevant.)
