Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My husband is currently incarcerated in Virginia where we live. He has been for 5 years and has more to go. We decided to get a divorce, and he filed the paperwork in order to save the hastle and enormous expense of a lawyer, I didnt realize it was so hard to divorce someone who is incarcerated! He filed the petition, the court served me with the papers. I filed my answer which was accepted by the judge. I have talked to the clerk of court who has told me all is left is he has to file a notice of deposition and he and a witness have to do a deposition, then the final decree. They said it doesnt have to be in front of a lawyer, it can be a written deposition, in question and answer form, but must have all the correct questions and information asked, but she wasnt able to tell me what those questions were. I have looked everywhere online, in the library, and even asked a friend who works in a law library, with no success. It is not possible for him to go to court, so the deposition must be done, and has to be a written one to avoid paying a lawyer thousands of dollars. Can someone PLEASE help me! I have come so far on my own and cannot afford a lawyer!!!! Does anyone have a listing or know exactly what questions he has to answer in written form, as well as the witness?
