Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My ex husband owes several thousand in child support and legal fees to my attorney. He recently did not show up for visitation, even though he claims he wants more time, and filed to lower child support which he does yearly-he just discovered having more kids will do this and has had two more with his new wife. They also bought a house and a new car after he claimed he made little money. He disparages me infront of our daughter and allows his wife and mother to do the same, I have proof in emails and witnesses. He refuses to follow the order, even for the littlest things such as giving me his new address, and is constantly harrassing me about things I did in the past that have nothing to do with our child or telling me I am keeping him from being a father (I do not) or filing bogus motions on a yearly basis. I am most likely filing a show cause for the support and fees because the lawyers fees are ruining my credit, can I do the same for visitation and custody issues? We have been divorced for 10 years now, and things seem to just be getting worse in terms of his behavior towards me and unwillingness to co-parent and the energy he spends not supporting our child. Also can I ask a court to compel him to allow our child to attend school functions and recitals? He thinks those things are important to me so he wont let her go.

Yes, you should be able to bring all of the issues you've described under one

Rule to Show Cause motion against your ex as to why he should not be

found in contempt of court and subject to appropriate sanctions.
