Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Hello

My husband and I were seperated last year..a divorce was filed..I was granted home and He had to move out.. He had to pay all bills in the home..to make a long story short..We reconciled. He then moved back in the home...only to get possetion of the home.. He tricked me..and now Im in a situation that is very abusive once again, that has gotten worse!!!! OUR both names are on the DEED of the house..and there is alot of money that he now cut me off to any bank accounts..I have no money! I have no more hope of this marriage changing. I want a divorce, I have taped my husband verbally abusing me and screaming at me with threats and throwing things, and shoving me. My question...Is a tape recorder good enough for divorce..and can I use it in court.

Unless he was aware of the tapings, it probably would be adjudged as inadmissible as evidence in your divorce (which doesn't mean, however,

that you couldn't get the evidence of his abuse in some other way).
